ABOUT

OUR STORY

MBCS originates from the evangelical ministry of Pastor Carl H. Stevens, who founded MBCS in 1988. Pastor Thomas Schaller continues to carry this world wide vision forward today. As a stand-alone ministry, MBCS exists under the spiritual covering of Greater Grace World Outreach (GGWO).

This unique and dynamic relationship with the local church allows MBCS students to correlate education in the classroom with training on the field. Graduates often co-labor with GGWO ministries and other local churches in church planting, assisting over 750 affiliated churches worldwide in missions, leadership training, evangelistic outreach, and Christian day schools.

Please see ggwo.org to find out more about attending the local church.

MBCS is a non-accredited institution.

OUR MISSION

OUR BELIEFS

THE SCRIPTURES – The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments have been given by the verbal plenary inspiration of God and therefore are inerrant (Ps. 19:7-13; 119:89,105).
SALVATION – Salvation, the gift of God, is provided solely by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 5:1; Acts 16:31).

MAN – Man was created in the image and likeness of God, male and female created he them. Man is in a fallen state by original sin and free volition. (Gen. 1:26-27; Gen. 3:6; Rom. 5:12; 1 Cor. 15:21-22)

THE CHURCH – The Church is the body and bride of Christ, dedicated to glorifying and worshipping God through the Great Commission (Is. 43:7; Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Rom. 12:4-5; Rev. 19).

SATAN – Satan is the anointed cherub who is fallen and defies God. He is cursed and awaiting final punishment in the Lake of Fire (Gen. 3:14-15; Is. 14: 12-14; Eze. 28:14-15; Rev. 20:7-10, 14).

GOD IS TRIUNE – There is one eternal God who reigns in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 3:16-17; 2 Cor. 13:14).

JESUS CHRIST – Jesus Christ, the only begotten of the Father, is fully God and fully man supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of a virgin. He is the savior of the world given as a perfect sacrifice for all of mankind, the lamb without blemish, and the propitiation for not our sins only but the sins of the whole world. (Matt. 1:21-23; Luke 1:35; John 3:16; 1 Pet. 1:19; 1 John 2:2).

THE HOLY SPIRIT – The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He seals us for God’s eternal glory and kingdom, and teaches us the Scriptures through various means. (John 16:8; Eph. 1:13-14; 1 John 2:20-27).

THE CONSUMMATION – The Church will be raptured, a tribulation will follow, and Christ will come back and reign for 1000 years on earth. There will be a final battle between heaven and hell, and a final judgment for Satan, his demons, and the unbelievers to be separated from God’s presence for eternity. All those who believed will live in a new heaven and a new earth, with Christ as their eternal light. (Rev. 20-22; 1 Thes 4:16-18).
