In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, the Apostle Paul explains to Timothy that, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works,” (King James Version). The vision at Maryland Bible College & Seminary (MBC&S) is simple and based on the Word of God. This school exists to equip believers through the Bible for everyday life, for service/ministry in their local churches, and for missions work throughout the world. 

Throughout the Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) program over 4 years, a student will have gone through the Bible twice while studying various subjects. Some of these subjects include but are not limited to Biblical Psychology, Intro to Missions, Survey of Doctrine, Counseling Fundamentals and Pauline Epistles. Students will grow in a deeper, more personal understanding of the fundamentals of theology, as well as in their practical application of what they are learning.

MBC&S gives students the opportunity to apply academic study in the real world all throughout the greater Baltimore community. Some students are involved in church plants as far away as Richmond, VA, while others teach children’s Bible studies in public and private schools in the area, volunteer at nursing homes, or start youth sports clubs in Baltimore city. The possibilities are endless, and God’s purpose and call in your life is all by grace (2 Tim. 1:9), and his gifts and calling are without repentance (Rom. 11:29). I believe He can do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think (Eph. 3:20), so what are you waiting for?
