Explore MBCS in WORDS
Our students receive so much from our teaching here at MBCS. From the first time they enter our campus, to Summer Harvests, outreaches, retreats, Convention, to their last trip across the stage as they receive their diplomas, here are some perspectives of their spiritual journeys, living and learning in Baltimore, MD.
GOD IS NOT DONE WITH ME YET!
My MBCS journey began in January of 2002, shortly after the tragic events of September 11th. It was this time of somber self-reflection that led me to want to dig deeper into my faith. After completing credits towards my Associates degree, I took an extended pause from Bible college to focus on starting a family. During this period, life took me through incredible peaks and valleys, which ultimately led me back to MBC&S in 2020. I completed my Bachelor of Biblical Studies in 2023 and could not be more excited for all that God has planned. MBCS provides a unique learning environment that integrates the knowledge of God’s word with a strong focus on missions. Students learn real life lessons from seasoned missionaries and church planters from all around the world. Graduating from MBCS serves as a reminder that God is not done with me yet!
Luis Carbonell | CLASS OF 2023
deciding to come to Bible College was the best decision of my life.
As Christians who live in this world, but are not of it, we face many difficult decisions in life. That’s why I felt it was so important to have the bedrock of a Bible College education under my feet to give me a thorough, biblical understanding of God’s Word, equipping me to make decisions both big and small with wisdom. Though it’s not required that a Spirit-filled Christian go to Bible College to be so, I often imagine that there are millions of Christians alive today, and those who have gone before us, that would give their all to attend even one class of a Bible College like MBCS! The teaching and guidance that MBCS offers has been so valuable to me personally. Since I’ve decided to come and can look back in hindsight, I can honestly say that, other than believing in Christ, deciding to come to Bible College was the best decision of my life.
